Peer Review Process
All submissions to MJS follow a fair and thorough double-blind peer review process. When submitting a manuscript, the editorial team checks if it fits the journal's scope, is original, and follows the submission guidelines. If suitable, the paper is sent to at least two independent and anonymous reviewers who carefully assess the work's quality, novelty, and usefulness in statistics. Based on the reviewers' feedback and the Associate Editor's recommendation, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision and provides the authors with constructive comments to help improve their manuscript.
MJS follows strict ethical standards during the review process. All reviewers and editors must keep the process confidential, be objective, and provide timely reviews. Authors are expected to submit original work that has not been published or submitted elsewhere. Manuscripts should be prepared according to the journal's guidelines, using docx or LaTeX files with simple formatting. MJS fully follows the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics to ensure fairness, transparency, and clear communication with all authors throughout the review process.
